A year-long residency took place in Mowbray park as part of the Poetry Society’s Poetry in Public Spaces scheme in 1999. The Heritage Lottery-funded refurbishment of Mowbray park incorporated several text pieces by poet Linda France and sculptor Alec Peever. This work frames the Jack Crawford Monument as you sit in a certain point and look at the artwork the lines of text align and frames the view of the Jack Crawford monument.
