Installed at the entrance to Rainton Bridge South Business Park the sculpture is near to Sunderland City Council’s e-volve centre which is part of the Sunderland Software City initiative. The figures, which all feature faces with different profiles, are pointing towards the e-volve business centre and are designed to appear as if they are a procession of delegates. Each evening the seven glass ‘heads’ of The Delegation are lit from inside and glimmer towards the sky.
